The Barman’s Fund of Louisiana 7th Anniversary Party benefiting A Child’s Wish
The party will take place on Wednesday, January 30th 2019 as an evening of food, music, and fellowship for service industry and non-profit colleagues.
Once again, funds raised at this year’s event will be used to grant the wish of a terminally ill child through the outreach program at A Child’s Wish of Louisiana.

Local Children Raise Funds for A Child’s Wish
A Child’s Wish would like to say thank you to the students at St. Rita Catholic School in Harahan for raising funds to help make wishes come true! The students raised money on their own to donate to help wishes come true for children with critical illnesses.

Kendra Gives Back Party
A Child’s Wish of Louisiana would like to sincerely thank Marie Claire Bennett and the entire Kendra Scott staff for an amazing event last night!
Our Kendra Gives Back party was a memorable night of shopping fabulous jewelry, while tasting delicious cupcakes & sweets and sipping champagne.
There were about 30+ women, children and brave men who came out to shop and we raised over $760 for A Child’s Wish of Louisiana in 2 hours!

Thank You for Another Successful Celebrity Waiter’s Luncheon!
Last week the Second Annual Celebrity Waiters Luncheon was held at Morton’s Steakhouse. A full house made for a successful event, with our hardworking waiters & gracious donors coming together to support our kids and have a little fun too!
We’d like to express our unending thanks to our sponsors and everyone who came out to support our mission, and we are thrilled to now extend our work to many deserving children in our area!

The 4th Annual Anniversary Party last week raised over $7,500 for A Child’s Wish of Louisiana. All proceeds and tips from the event were donated in an effort to help children receive their wishes. The Barman’s Fund Supports A Child’s Wish
The Barman’s Fund NOLA is ushering in the New Year with an epic fourth anniversary celebration on January 19th. We’ve been delighted to partner with this local community of philanthropists every January for these past four years, and are even more thrilled to have been generously appointed as the beneficiary of their anniversary party!
Brian Floyd created the original Barman’s Fund in New York to assist in the aftermath of the devastating Japanese earthquake. Since then, New York member bartenders donate a shift’s worth of tips every month to raise funds for various charities in the Big Apple.
Holly Williams, an old friend of Floyd and bartender at the French Quarter’s Balcony Music Club, decided to found a second chapter here in New Orleans. The interest among local bartenders has been strong and their donations last year added nearly $70,000 to local charities.
The Louisiana chapter will celebrate their fourth anniversary at the fabulous House of Blues Voodoo Garden. This deliciously satisfying event begins at 7pm, and is free and open to the public! If you’d like to invite friends, you can RSVP to the Facebook event here. There will be live music and a raffle, as well as a silent auction. For those who wish to imbibe, there will also be mouthwatering drink specials.
Credit and debit cards will be accepted at the Garden bar for alcohol and tips/donations, but cash will be necessary for the raffle and silent auction. Entertainment will be provided by DJ Snow, Tony Skratchere and Kidd Love. Andrew Healan will be the master of ceremonies. Photo booth will be provided by RedEye Photobooths. Holly Bowman will offer card readings this year as well.
As we are an all-volunteer organization, we are honored to be selected to receive all earnings, including gratuities, from this appetizing evening in the Voodoo Garden. So get your friends together and help make local children’s dreams come true!
There is no requirement to indulge, but if you do, remember to Drink with Purpose!
