This month, A Child’s Wish worked with Brandon and his family to help fulfill his wish.  Here is a glimpse at his special experience:

Brandon is an energetic boy with a big smile who’s big wish was to get a new video game system and TV to play it on.  Because Brandon spends alot of time indoors recovering from his medical treatments his new game system helps pass the time and gives him alot to keep quite busy.   A Child’s Wish arranged for Brandon and his family to have a shopping spree at Best Buy where they picked out a new flat screen TV for the whole family to enjoy.  But Brandon’s face really lit up when he reached the video game section of the store where he looked through the various game systems before settling on a new XBox console and some new games to go with it.

Since Brandon’s wish took place during the height of Hornets fever Brandon also wanted to attend a Hornets game.  Through the generosity of the New Orleans Hornets Brandon was able to not only attend the game with his family but also got a chance to go on the court and spend some time with his Hornets heros.  Mr. George Shinn, owner of the Hornets, was kind enough to personally introduce Brandon to the players and show him around the facility helping make a wonderful day he won’t soon forget.
