During Superbowl weekend in New Orleans, Cameron Steib (14) and his family were the guests of honor at the Superbowl Pro Camp. An avid football fan and passionate New Orleans Saints supporter, Cameron was in awe of his meetings with former Saint Deuce McAllister and current Saints Mark Ingram and Darren Sproles. During the all-up huddle, Cameron was presented with a signed jersey by Mark Ingram!
Additionally, the biggest star in country music, Garth Brooks, was on hand to make Cameron’s day extra special.
Cameron Steib was diagnosed with Leigh’s disease in 2006. Leigh’s disease is a rare mitochondrial disease that is fatal with no cure. It affects the central nervous system with symptoms of fatigue, muscle weakness and others. Cameron has been very blessed and his doctors are in awe of how he is dealing with this fatal disease. Cameron is an active, loving child who loves God and football!
